We’re 38 people across North America, and we measure our work the way clients do: whether the system is still running six months after launch.

02 · Why here
Actually true, not recruiting copy
01
You ship to production
Every engagement ends with a live system and a client operating it, not a proof of concept that quietly dies after the readout.
02
You talk to the client
Engineers sit in workflow-mapping sessions and evaluation reviews directly. The distance between “build it” and “why it matters” is short.
How we work
Opinionated about the work,
quiet about the rest.
We’d rather ship something narrow and correct than broad and shaky.
Engagements are staffed in pods of two to four people who stay with a client from scoping through handoff. We write things down: runbooks, evaluation criteria, decision logs. Async by default; meetings are for decisions, not status updates.

05 · How we hire
About three weeks, four conversations
i
Week 1 · 30 min
A conversation with the hiring lead about what you’ve built, what you want next and what the role really involves. You ask as many questions as we do.
ii
Week 1–2 · 3 hours, paid
A real, anonymised problem from a past engagement, worked through with two of the people you’d work with. We pay for your time.
iii
Week 2 · 60 min
How you’d take something from notebook to production: evaluation, monitoring, failure modes, handoff. Whiteboard optional.
iv
Week 3 · 45 min
A conversation with a founder about how we work and disagree. Decisions within three working days, with feedback either way.
