Engagements
Are governed by a signed statement of work, not this page.
Part A
Privacy Policy
01 · What we collect
When you submit a form on this site, whether a contact form, a Book a Call request or a newsletter signup, we collect the information you provide: name, work email, company, and any details you enter about your use case. We also collect standard analytics data (pages visited, referring source, device type) through our website analytics tooling.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.
02 · How we use it
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, schedule and prepare for calls, and, where you’ve opted in, send occasional updates about our work. We use analytics data in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
We do not sell your information to third parties. Client data shared during an engagement is covered by that engagement’s agreement, stays in your environment or a dedicated tenant, and is never used to train models for anyone else.
03 · Data retention
We retain contact and engagement information for as long as it’s relevant to an active or prospective engagement, and for a limited period afterward for record-keeping. After that it is deleted or anonymised on a quarterly review cycle.
04 · Third parties
We use a small number of third-party tools to operate this site and our business:
Scheduling, for Book a Call.
Email delivery, for the newsletter and follow-up messages.
Analytics, for aggregate site usage.
Each is bound by its own privacy terms, and we share only the minimum information needed for it to do its job.
05 · Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in that email. To make a request, use the Contact page or write to privacy@northwind.example; we reply within one business day.
Part B
Terms of Service
06 · Acceptable use
This site and its content are provided for your information and to support engaging with Northwind. You may not scrape, republish or redistribute site content without our permission, or use the site in a way that disrupts its normal operation.
07 · Engagement terms
Using this site does not itself create a client engagement. Scope, fees and deliverables for any project are set out in a separate signed statement of work, which takes precedence over anything described on this site, including prices shown on the Pricing page.
08 · Liability
This site and its content are provided “as is”. We take care to keep information accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is complete or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of content published here. Figures in case studies describe specific engagements and are not a promise of results.
09 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from use of this site will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
10 · Contact
Questions about this policy or these terms can be sent through our Contact page or to privacy@northwind.example.
Part C
Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the site and, only with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies to understand how it is used. Nothing optional is set until you choose.
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookies link at the bottom of every page. It reopens the consent panel, where you can accept, decline or pick categories one by one.
